IdentityForce Review

By Kevin Mercadante

Identity Force is an online data protection and security company that offers a lot compared to what you get. Your personal information will be monitored and protected from potential threats. Not only that, but you will also be shown an ID health score in order to learn what steps can be taken to further avoid identity theft. The company has been in business since 1978 and is one of the chief companies that helps to protect government agencies like the Department of Homeland Security. They even offer identity theft insurance, paying up to $1 million to cover losses, regardless of fault.

Features & Highlights

Identity Force's chief service and guarantee is the ability to protect all of your credit and personal information. They do this by constant, 24-hour monitoring of all your data and information. If there is ever anything that could be considered suspicious activity, you will receive instant notification, based on your preferred methods (email, text, phone, etc...). This allows you to take action before any damage occurs. The company actually goes out and searches for your personal information in chat rooms and on websites known to traffic in illegal information. An additional helpful feature is the mailing list removal service. Identity Force will contact marketers using mailing lists and request the removal of your name. All of your data is kept in a secure SAS 70 certified data center and is masked before being stored.

The company does also have a premium version. This allows for the daily monitoring of all three of your credit bureau files, adding an extra layer of protection. Not to mention that you also receive a proprietary identity health score to rate how you use and share your personal information. This can be a great help to show you ways in which you can become more security conscious and become less of a target.

Sign Up Process

The sign up process through Identity Force is quite straightforward and easy. You will start by selecting one of the two plans, either UltraSecure or UltraSecure plus Credit. The main difference is that the second plan includes daily and ongoing monitoring of all three credit bureau files. Once chosen, you will enter your basic information and then have the option of adding ChildWatch, a service to help protect your childrens information. After choosing (or declining) this optional add-on, you will taken to a page for securely processing your payment. Simply enter your information and you are all set.

Pricing Concerns

The company also includes access to a 14-day free trial that should allow you to get a feel for exactly how the service works. Of course, both plans are quite affordable, charging only $14.95 or $23.95 per month, respectively. You could, of course, also choose to pay for a whole year up front, which entitles you to approximately two months free. The child watch add-on is also very competitively priced at just $2.75 per month (or $27.50 for the whole year). Either way you choose, this is an incredible value. With the free trial, you can even see how it works first.

Customer Support

The customer support offered by Identity Force is quite good. If you ever have any questions or need assistance, it is easy to find exactly what you need. The site has a full list of helpful frequently asked questions to get you started. There are also a number of informative articles about the topic of protecting your identity, along with a section of free resources like a risk assessment quiz and an identity theft restoration toolkit.

Ease Of Use

The site is very intuitive as well. When you log in the dashboard or control panel gives you everything you need right at your fingertips. You can choose to do anything from update your contact information to examine recent alerts, or even take a look at some of the informational articles on the site. Depending on the service chosen, you can even examine recent credit bureau reports.

Bottom Line

Anyone looking to keep their information safe from identity theft should really consider using this site. The price is affordable and it is easy to use and navigate. This is everything needed for staying safe.
